Small (less then 20x30m) but beautiful ice rink. Next to the river and with mountain view. Also there is additional place for curling.
Artistic skating training will be impossible but for great photoshots or friends meeting it’s a perfect place 🙂

DOLDER SPORTS
Really hudge open-air ice rink (about 2x 30x60m!) for public skating!
With beautiful christmas-tree inside makes special climat.
Also 2 additional ice rinks:
* open air ice rink 30×60 with bands (for trainings)
* ice rink in hall (full size 30×60) for trainings
Good ice and a lot of place means you can do here both – training and nice photoshots 🙂

EAST PART OF SWITZERLAND

ENGADIN EISWEG
3 km skating track in the forest. Located next to border with Osterreich and Italy. Far away and with quite hard driveway but worth to see! In the middle of nowhere – but almost empty and really beautiful.
Loop shape (one-way skating) with a “tail” where the route has its beginning and end; In the beginning there is also a wooden heated container where you can put on skates and leave your belongings (they are not guarded).
The route runs through the forest and partly through a beautiful glade. It is well prepared and regularly cleaned. It’s not completely flat. On descents and ascents there are uneven fragments of ice (which is completely natural), on flat fragments the ice is smooth.
The route consists of flat sections but also descents and ascents, so it is necessary to be able to brake (with a plow and/or Tstop). The most difficult descent is right in front of the clearing.
The episode is not long, the whole thing takes about 20 minutes. So you can go with children, provided that they can independently move on skates, safely fall and brake.
Also I recommend to take good camera and photocamera with you – it’s a great place for making beautifil videos and photoshots!
